I want to write something today, but I’m feeling a bit blah. I think I may be fighting off a cold. I’ve been thinking about lots of things and making lots of lists.
I have a goal of having all of my Xmas shopping done by November 30th. That way, I won’t have to deal with crowded mall/department store insanity at all. Plus, as this will be our first holiday season in Calgary, I’m a little phobic about dealing with a lot of snow. When it gets snowy, I prefer to be snug in my little house with hot chocolate and lots of movies 😉
We also have my two very favourite holidays coming up before Xmas – Thanksgiving and Halloween. I am so excited for Halloween this year. The little one will be going trick-or-treating for the very first time this year. This will also be the first year in a long time that we’ve lived somewhere where you get trick-or-treaters at all. There isn’t a lot of trick-or-treating in apartment buildings, unfortunately.
Along with my holiday planning lists, I have made a list of planned art projects. 45 pieces in all. I think it will help to keep me busy for a long while. And it should help to stave off painter’s block 😉
As to the title, well, it was the most fun style of art I could think of.
